What is Element?
Element is a messaging app built on the open Matrix protocol — think of it like Telegram, but safer and fully decentralised. Your messages aren't owned by any single company.
It does not require a phone number — any email address works, including a temporary one if you prefer to stay anonymous.
How to Join

Download Element — available on Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS, and Android. You can also use the web app with no install required.

Create a free account on the matrix.org server. No phone number needed — any email (or a temp email) is fine.

Join the Space first, then join the Room using the links below. The Space is the main hub; the Room is where the conversation happens.

Click in order — join the Space first, then the Room.
💡 Why two links? The Space is like a server hub (similar to a Discord server). The Room is the actual chat channel inside it. Join both to get full access.
Privacy Tips
Element doesn't need your real email. You can use temp-mail.org to create a throwaway address when registering — no personal information required.
Your Matrix username (called a MXID) looks like @yourname:matrix.org — you choose it yourself.
